Some pictures of our The Temple of Agape taken by Gareth Gardner, a temporary installation created by Morag & Luke commissioned by the Southbank Centre for their summer ‘Festival of Love’ until 31st August. LIFE IS LIKE RIDING A BICYCLE. TO KEEP YOUR BALANCE YOU MUST KEEP MOVING. ALBERT EINSTEIN

Sunday, May 19th, 2013

Yesterday was the last day of the Movement Cafe and I went to have a last look, I always knew it was a temporary structure but it had felt that the cafe had taken root and until I arrived I had no idea how I would feel about it going and I have to admit I felt very sad and did not want to say goodbye to it. But it was lovely to listened all the stories about the cafe and how people have such affection for it and how it brightens their lives and how they feel they will miss it and don’t want it to go. Here are my last photos before it is dismantled. But all is not lost, many parts of the cafe are going to be reused in different projects so it is moving on…..

RPM’S

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

I have been working for months with the Cathedral Group designing and sourcing furniture etc for a new cafe in the Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes. So exciting to go today and see the ply floored laid and the tiler just finishing off the corners and ready to start the grout. We have a very tight deadline for all the furniture to be delivered Luke is busily making now, made from metal and reclaimed wood. Lots still to do!!!!!
