Brian Sawyer and Phill McVicar are doing an amazing job painting my hundred metre piece at the New Charter Academy, Manchester. It is a race against time as we have two schools to get done before the students return from their holidays.

Saturday, July 27th, 2013

I am so pleased how close the very initial sketches are to the final outcome.

DONE!

Saturday, July 27th, 2013

In three days Lizzie, Kathryn, Luke and I painted all the stencils and only left with the peeling off. Pleased we are done.

3 DAYS TO GO

Thursday, July 25th, 2013

Our Pavilion is really taking shape we have started painting the exterior. The floors in, the cupboards built and signs nearly all up. Now it is down to us to get all the painting on the outside completed in only a few days. It would not have been possible without the great Danny Elphick, Origin8projects and Andy Fisher,  Chase Joinery who have worked tirelessly to get the project done. That roof was not easy.

COLOUR SAMPLER

Saturday, July 13th, 2013

I am getting ready to start painting on wood a huge installation in the new Burntwood school dining room, new school designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris. So it is the colour testing stage. Nice relaxing thing to do in such a hot day.

PINK LADY

Thursday, July 11th, 2013

Today at the New London Design Awards in the Guildhall Great Hall. Amazing place. Our table. Me and Martyn. Unfortunately we did not win but we were shortlisted for the Movement Cafe and that was amazing. So we were all very pleased on this beautiful sunny day.

SUMMERTIME

Thursday, July 11th, 2013

My project at Barts Hospital is nearing completion. These are my signs to the garden. Kathryn has been painting them very carefully for me while I have been in Birmingham overseeing the Pavilion Build. And Lizzie has been at the hospital finishing painting the wall stencils. We should be done on Friday.

ARRIVED SAFELY

Thursday, July 11th, 2013

ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD

Monday, July 8th, 2013

Sunday 23rd of June we completed the mega task of making a 6.5m map from individually painted & cut strips & pieces of wood. We are very relieved we completed it on time as it was so complex. Team from left to right: Yea, Morag, Mark, Lizzie, Luke & Kathryn (not in pic as sunning herself at Glastonbury that weekend!)
