My Journey: I am making places you can escape in. When I was small we had a cardboard spaceship and as soon as my sister and I got inside it we believed we were on a journey to space. Fantasy. The two pieces of work: my opera set design for my final project at the Royal College of Art ‘The Turn of the Screw Opera by Benjamin Britten’ 1988 and ‘The Movement Café’ 2012.
