We were over in Dublin, April 2008, and it was the opening of the Technothreads exhibition, the install had been quite hard work so we loved the fact it was finished and we could enjoy ourselves. Gerrard was in his element that night getting Nico and Luke to carry his opening night flowers, strutting along in his amazing silver suit. We were out to have a good time that night and we did! To complete the night we had a lovely meal with Gerrard’s family.

It is so devastating he is not going to be around anymore. I loved when Gerrard would say ‘that is exactly what I was thinking’. Just to be around him was intoxicating and gave me the feeling you could achieve anything. An amazing person who I will miss forever.
