POWER PRINTING

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

For the POWER OF TEN Identity I really wanted to work in collaboration with the college’s letterpress workshop.  It made sense that we should use the LCC’s  in house expertise, no need to go outside……

PECHA KUCHA LAST NIGHT AT THE DESIGN MUSEUM

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

One of 14 people waiting their turn was a very scary experience. But once on stage the 6mins 40 secs ended up feeling fun. A packed house and all the speakers were fascinating such a great format to work with and a very interesting study of time.
I was very pleased to be included.

RETURN TO SENDER

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

8am on a rainy Saturday morning at Elephant and Castle, the two 20ft shipping containers arrived, which was very exciting. BUT the lorry was too big to get round the corner into the LCC car park, so they had to go back and come again another day, on smaller lorries!
Hopefully better luck next time.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Friday, May 7th, 2010

I requested a 40ft shipping container to go at the front of the London College Communication, ‘POWER OF TEN‘ summer shows, LCC have kindly been given this by Southwark, not quite what I was expecting, rather ironically we want to strip it back to it’s original form. But must not complain very pleased to have it to work with and love the solar panels and inside there is even a wood pellet burning stove just incase we have a cold summer. Luke and I are going to get to work on it over the next week, so you may want to watch how it develops!
